A striking blend of traditional and contemporary design, Guildford Hall is a popular wedding venue situated in the heart of Cardiff; with its unique interior architecture Guildford Hall provides an opulent backdrop to your wedding party and for treasured photographs of your day.

Here at Guildford Hall we can cater for up to 300 people and our experienced staff will be on hand and happy to help you plan your special day at this premier Cardiff wedding venue.

As you enter Guildford Hall, our impressive ground floor atrium offers a stunning setting for a drinks reception and a commanding period staircase leads to a large landing area, from where you have a choice of three wedding suites: 

The Ball Room – with a picturesque stained glass dome ceiling and a large stage suitable for wedding entertainment. This impressive room can accommodate up to 180 guests.  

The Dining Room – a traditional wood panelled suite with stained glass window. This room is often used for buffets, formal photographs or smaller wedding receptions – it’s also a great place to escape from the ball room when the band is in full swing…The Dining Room can hold up to 50 guests. 

The Restaurant - recently refurbished to the highest standard, is Guildford Hall’s most popular room for wedding ceremonies. The restaurant can accommodate up to 80 wedding guests or 56 if the venue doubles for your wedding reception. 

Additionally we offer a bar and lounge area which are all included in our price, making the Guildford Hall the perfect choice for your Cardiff wedding. 

A special touch to the day… 

Weddings are all about that extra special touch, so why not have your photos taken in a Masonic Temple? You could even cut your wedding cake with our silver ceremonial sword!

Civil or Religious Ceremony?

We’ll work closely with you as you make your choices regarding venue and style of ceremony. We are fully licensed for Civil Ceremonies.

Wedding Breakfast  

Our chef and his team are happy to supply a menu that will meet your dietary needs. A hot buffet, banquet or 3-course dinner, the choice is always yours. Take a look at our sample menus – or ask our chef to tailor a custom made menu to suit your personal preferences and tastes.  

Evening Party 

Why not celebrate in style with a lavish evening reception at The Guildford Hall? Our chef will amaze you with a sumptuous choice of menu for our hot or cold buffets. You can even pick a dessert (or three!) or serve up your wedding cake. Party the night away with your choice of entertainment…our fully licensed bar can stay open as late as you wish. 

Decor 

Celebrate your wedding at the Guildford Hall and you’ll have full use of the entire venue. Yours will be the only wedding party here on the day, so you will have free rein to decorate the tables or even the staircase and landing to suit your tastes and theme.
